Privacy Policy

Effective Date: December 23, 2025

1. Our Privacy Philosophy

DateMath was built with the conviction that you shouldn't have to trade your privacy for utility. Our architecture is fundamentally different from traditional web tools: instead of sending your data to a server for processing, we send the logic to your browser. This "Local-First" approach ensures that your data never leaves your environment.

2. Information Collection

Personal Data: We do not collect names, email addresses (unless you contact us), or any identifying information during your use of the site.

Input Data: All dates, durations, and event names you enter into our tools are stored in temporary browser memory only. Once you close the tab or refresh the page, this information is wiped.

Technical Data: We do not track IP addresses, browser fingerprints, or device identifiers.

3. Cookies and Local Storage

DateMath does not use marketing or tracking cookies. We may use minimal "Local Storage" only to save your preferences (such as a custom event name in the countdown tool) locally on your machine. This data is never transmitted to us or any third party.

4. Third-Party Services

We leverage industry-standard CDNs (Content Delivery Networks) to serve our static assets (CSS, JS libraries). These providers may log basic technical request data (like your browser type) as part of standard server operations, but we do not share any user-inputted data with them.

  • Tailwind CSS (via CDN)
  • jQuery (via CDN)
  • Lucide Icons (via CDN)

5. Global Compliance

While we operate globally, our zero-data-collection policy naturally aligns with the strictest privacy regulations, including GDPR (EU), CCPA (USA), and PIPEDA (Canada). Since we do not possess your data, we cannot sell, share, or lose it.
